I am sure many of you have heard about the fantastic new iPad 3, officially dubbed the "New iPad" by Apple. There were more rumors swarming around leading up to the announcement yesterday than I had ever thought possible. So many people wanted hundreds of different features but I think many of the consumers out here now are happy with the new iPad. With that HDTV-beating iPad Retina Display that can compete with the most advanced of consoles to small helpers like the dictation features, Apple rules yet again at the tablet market. We may see a new tablet by Apple simply because this new iPad has no name, also there weren't any "groundbreaking features" that we have come to expect from Apple, especially the brainchild of Steve Jobs' "post PC era".
Technology will always be improving though, and I absolutely recommend getting your hands on this new iPad now, because this product will almost certainly sell out very soon. I have much experience with iOS (or iPhone iPod and iPad) devices and seeing that there is now a quad-core processor, I am very excited so see just how much of a powerhouse this iPad turns out to be.
There is finally a good camera in an iPad. Boasting a 5MP camera with the same optics system as the iPhone 4S, this tablet truly rivals the small competitors out there today. Apple has reported that 100 competitor tablets have launched just last year, yet still Apple dominates that entire category. And now with the fantastic camera to compliment the retina display, even more momentum is building.
And for those of us needing to do business on-the-go and need the incredible apps for business as well as a fantastically fast cellular network to do so, 4G LTE is finally available for the iPad, the first Apple product to boast this futuristic technology. The "LTE" actually stands for "Long-Term Evolution", meaning this technology is here to stay, and understandably so.
Altogether, for the 16-Gigabyte WiFi-only model selling for only $499, this amazing product is a steal. I will be eagerly awaiting the day I get my hands on this amazing product.
